Visit Lake Street - “The Lake of 10,000 Lands”

In 2020, Lake Street businesses were hit hard: first with the pandemic, then, at the same time, with the civil unrest in the wake of George Floyd’s murder. Many beloved shops and restaurants closed, struggled, or sustained severe damage. But a lot can change in a few years, and Lake Street Council came to us hoping to re-debut Lake Street in a big way. After all, it is home to over 2,000 businesses, many of them immigrant-owned, and there’s no other thoroughfare in Minneapolis that represents as many cultures as Lake.

The Lake of 10,000 Lands campaign is a celebration of everything that makes Lake Street extraordinary: its diversity, its resilience, and its symbolism of the American dream.
